The Law Society of Scotland, KPMG and the Chartered Institute of Taxation all expressed concerns to the committee about the lack of consultation that was undertaken.
Nobody on the committee, including Mark McDonald, expressed any objection to that. The committee looked carefully at the evidence and very clearly formed that view.
