For the 2020 Year of Coasts and Waters, with support from the Scottish Government, Fuaran created a new strand featuring some of the hundreds of Gaelic songs connected with that themed year. 2.18 Gaelic cultural activities attract local residents but, with VisitScotland finding that 1 in 3 visitors are interested in learning more about Gaelic when coming to Scotland, clearly there is potential to enhance the visitor experience.
