Working in partnership with local authorities, schools can begin to explore what exists in their local community. Recently I spoke to the warden of a castle, which shall remain nameless, who said that local primary schools never visit it.
We should certainly exchange information and I have the addresses of various websites that we should look at if we have not been looking at them already.
Within Badenoch and Strathspey, it appears that people do not have access to the website in question. I wanted to take this opportunity to express my concern that my constituents are being disfranchised and might not be able to respond within the consultation period.
However, most of the authorities at the top of the table have a declining population, so in addition to the shortfall that they inherited they have a declining grant.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will detail in descending order the top 50 recipients of Less Favoured Areas Support Scheme subsidy under the new scheme and the equivalent figures for the last year of the old scheme.
For example, building or improving local community facilities, buying sports or leisure equipment and running clubs or activities at times which are convenient for young people.
