Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) has recently undertaken a full review of the PFI contract at Inverness Airport Terminal and the impact of a buy-out on the airport and the wider economy.
With the lower allowable level of toxins, the market would almost become white meat only. Anyone who buys scallops is aware of the possibility of buying the white meat of scallops imported from outside the European Union for very little money.
There is a great deal of confusion about smoke-control areas, planning regulations and which boilers people may buy and use in urban areas. People are happy to buy such boilers, but they are required to import them, so a big opportunity is being missed.
