Amendment 333 establishes an appeal mechanism, which will be open to"any person having an interest in the personal welfare of the adult"and which will apply to decisions taken on medical treatment under part 5 of the bill, other than those appeals to the Court of Session allowed already by section 47.The amendment is a catch-all provision that ensures that any decision, other than the exception that I have mentioned already, can be appealed.
