Obviously, we need to help those organisations directly, but they also receive support from the public—from visitors to their sites, in the case of attractions and historic buildings for which the likes of Historic Environment Scotland have responsibility.
The delegated power also helps to future-proof the Bill by giving Scottish Ministers the power to amend to definition of relevant offence to reflect future legislation and new offences which may be created.
