Work is ongoing to determine how the additional £4.5 million announced in the 2025-26 budget to deliver new specialist support will be allocated to NHS boards.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S6W-20923 by Maree Todd on 26 September 2023, whether it can provide an update on progress with the implementation of Anne's Law, and whether it will be in force by the end of 2025.
The Minister for Victims and Community Safety wrote to the Committee on 26 February 2026 to advise that the draft instrument would therefore be withdrawn and a revised SSI laid.
