To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of patients in each (a) Glasgow, (b) Edinburgh, (c) Dundee, and (d) Aberdeen parliamentary constituency area were diagnosed with coronary heart disease compared with the national average in each of the last five years.
Data are only given for the years 1996-97, 1997-98 and 1998-99 as comparable information is not available prior to April 1996 due to local government reorganisation.Data for 1998-99 are from a different source than data for earlier years; the categories in table three are therefore slightly different.
