Local authorities do not have enough suitably qualified teacher/assessors and enough support for learning staff to support all the young people once identified as having additional support needs. (Anne Warden)
Many of the pupils I teach with additional support needs have behavioural / social issues which impedes their learning.
Then I saw the figure of £225 million in a Scottish Parliament information centre publication that is linked on the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee’s website, which I found out came from paragraphs 3.10 and 3.11 of the independent budget review report.
These rates, along with intermediate and higher and top rates, will remain unchanged,
introduce a new 45p Advanced rate band for those earning over £75,000, and
increase the Top rate of tax from 47p to 48p, paid by those earning more than £125,140.
People who are involved in prostitution are generally vulnerable and get involved in it due to reasons such as previous abuse, poverty, substance misuse or trafficking.The cloak of secrecy should be lifted from the men who buy sex. The social harm of their behaviour must be recognised and acknowledged.
Meanwhile, the Scottish Executive has already introduced legislation under section 73 of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001 to give power to police, traffic wardens and parking attendants to inspect blue badges.

To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has made to the UK Government in respect of the impact on the Scottish music industry of the advice available to people considering buying tickets for music events from individuals offering such tickets on online auction websites.
In the NHS, monitoring is relatively easy, because a vast amount of expenditure is direct expenditure: we buy services, and we can set the outcomes against the services and see what we get for that direct spend.
