This search includes all content on the Scottish Parliament website, except for Votes and Motions. All Official Reports (what has been said in Parliament) and Questions and Answers are available from 1999. You can refine your search by adding and removing filters.
To date, all that I am aware of is the website that the Scottish Council for Educational Technology has put on the internet on behalf of the Scottish Executive.
We started with a very long document, but we took a lot of the detail out and ended up with a small leaflet, which is available on our website. I think that members have copies of it.
We could learn something from the private sector. If we look at any website, whether it is advertising castles or golf, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are almost marketed as one destination.
I am talking about journals, documents and books that are published electronically, but perhaps most importantly I am talking about websites. As I say, that is a huge challenge, and is where the focus of the digital National Library is being placed.
I downloaded a phenomenal amount of material just from the Parliament's website. I was not the only person who took days' holidays to read through and try to understand such documents.
Are the consortium's findings also in the public domain? Its report is available on its website. The report is also published in hard copy, as are the Executive research reports.
