I have had a lot of correspondence from pike anglers. I went on to their website and the first thing that I came across was a demonstration of fishing with dead bait, but an angler has assured me that at particular times of year the sport is much better with live bait.However, I think that using vertebrates as bait raises a fish welfare issue.
