(S5O-03793) NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s plans for cancer services are being taken forward as part of a regional approach for the west of Scotland, which involves a tiered approach to care, from specialist cancer provision at the Beatson to local outreach centres such as that proposed at the new Stobhill hospital. That reflects significant changes in service requirements and delivery, coupled with the introduction of new diagnostic and treatment technologies that have been developed over recent years.
