During our fact-finding visit to Lithuania, we heard about the country’s simplified approach to taxation, with income tax ranging from 26% to 32%, not dissimilar to the approach we previously explored in Estonia where there is a flat 22% tax on individual income.
Agency Agreements between Social Security Scotland and the Department for Work and Pensions There are expected to be ten Agency Agreements between Social Security Scotland and the Department for Work and Pensions in 2025/26. Social Security Scotland are currently in the process of setting budgets for 2025/26 and the forecast cost of payments under Agency Agreement is £6.9 million in 2025/26.
