Pre budget scrutiny response from Cab Sec to Committee December 2024_

The Government was not able to provide this in 2023/24 given wider budget pressures and therefore provided £13.2 million in 2024/25 covering the National Lottery Shortfall funding for 2023/24 along with the £6.6m for 2024/25. From 2025/26 this £6.6 million is base lined in the CS multiyear funding budget.

Local Housing Allowance Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership

These factors have resulted in additional unfunded financial pressures on Glasgow City of £27m in 2024/25, and £38m in 2025/26. This will deplete available reserves by 31 March 2026.
