Sometimes we do not give people the credit that they are entitled to and we think that, because the UK voted for Brexit, all that kind of Windrush stuff is somehow condoned or accepted by the people.
There is a benefit in having the commissioning team all working in a very close way, with individual genre heads sited together and talking to each other frequently to ensure that they share ideas and contacts.
That is apt in the Parliament’s 25th year, but those of us on the committee, as well as members in the chamber today, have expressed regret that we are in this situation.
Does Audit Scotland have any thoughts as to whether the structures in place after regionalisation are—I would not use the expression “fit for purpose”—appropriate in the current environment?

To ask the Scottish Executive what progress has been made in registering (a) support workers, (b) practitioners, and (c) workers with supervisory responsibilities in adult care homes since 2007, expressed as a percentage of the workforce.
The current system has been tested once and followed the process laid out in the legislation as intended. Boundaries Scotland expressed disappointment in the outcome.
