To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will publish a comparative analysis between the costs of funding housing through (a) private finance and (b) the Public Works Loans Board.
I was in the hands of professionals. I had to compare what I had wanted in advance with what they were having to deal with, but I had no way of knowing that a particular set of circumstances would arise.
Last Thursday, I returned from leading a 10-day pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Even though the visit was my fourth to Israel/Palestine, I still came back having been exposed to new challenges that made me think of the situation there and of other situations closer to home.
I am sure that it might even be possible, if Andrew Welsh is happy to secure an invitation, for either the Minister for Justice or the Deputy Minister for Justice to visit the project to see it at first hand.
