We continue to work with councils and COSLA to agree a distribution methodology for the £550,000 unallocated from the 2023-24 budget as well as the 2024-25 and 2025-26 budgets. S6W-11246
This represents a 3.1% increase compared to the 2025-26 budget. However, when one-off election project costs of £2.5 million are stripped out to allow a like-for-like comparison, the year-on-year movement of costs within the Parliament’s control is actually a decrease of £0.4 million or 0.6%.”
