The Bill deals mainly with rented, particularly private rented, accommodation and homelessness prevention.

The Scottish Government set out proposals for the Bill in its consultation Wildlife Management in Scotland, which opened on 26 October 2022 and closed on 14 December 2022.
The Scottish Government has since committed to bringing forward new agriculture legislation in this session and have a post-CAP system for agricultural support in place for 2025-26.
