Subject to successful passage of the legislation, Aberdeen City Council will be extending free school meal entitlement to all primary and secondary school pupils and families in receipt of the maximum child tax credit and working tax credit from August 2009.
Five days should still be the aim, but the process should be done properly, making sure that the person’s concerns are fully expressed. There is a balance between trying to deliver it in five days and giving the person the opportunity to express their complaint properly.
