This change was part of the SPCB''s wider considerations on how to best use our resources to achieve the aims in our management plan, including public engagement. Visitor statistics illustrated that numbers of visitors remained proportionately very low on Sundays; the majority of visitors arriving during the working week when Parliament is sitting and when there is an opportunity to see parliament in action and meet with MSPs.
