Guidance for MSPs not returned following 2026 Election

As a reminder, the current session of Parliament will end at midnight on Wednesday 8 April 2026 and dissolution will begin immediately thereafter on Thursday 9 April 2026, with the election taking place on Thursday 7 May 2026. The Parliament has agreed there will be a pre-election recess that will begin on Thursday 26 March and end on 8 April 2026. i.e. the date before dissolution on 9 April 2026.
