, a review of conditions for Remand Prisoners at the end of the 20th Century involved visits to all prisons holding remand prisoners but is not included in the figures given below.
The next highest cause was cooking appliances, which were responsible for 26 per cent of fatalities, followed by space heaters and candles, which accounted for 6 per cent each.
How in your work as MEPs do you do that at the pre-legislative stage? My impression, having visited Denmark as part of the inquiry, is that it has a much better co-operative approach.
