Finally, and unusually in our budget scrutiny process, we heard from the Minister for Public Health, Sport and Wellbeing and then the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport.

It is for the Health, Social Care and Sport Committee to recommend to the Parliament whether the Regulations should be approved.
The instrument makes the same changes and confers the same legislative functions in relation to both Scotland and England and will ensure official controls on imports of live animals and animal products continue to be effective.
