Section 29 – Public notification
Section 29 would amend the 1993 Act to replace the current requirement for public notifications to be advertised in local newspapers with the Commission website. The policy memorandum states this would create a single website to advertise all notifications.
In relation to the factors taken into account by the Parole Board when considering release on parole, its website states:
