I think that he would perhaps accept that.Again, I welcome the progress that has been made on the issue over the past week. The new year appears to have ushered in a new willingness on the part of the Government to listen.
We have to deal with that inflation on an on-going basis. The latest study that was conducted in construction recommended that, between 2020 and 2025, the construction industry in Scotland will require more than 26,000 new entrants.
That is part of the necessary process of dialogue that the Government has to go through when it is reviewing such material. In preparing for the new academic year, local authorities should follow the existing guidance when considering those questions.
