I have heard concerns, anecdotally, from quite a few constituents about the transfer of people from somewhere that is not Covid-safe into Scotland, which could have a significant impact on our Covid rates.
That is why this Government, unlike any other Government across the United Kingdom, took action to integrate health and social care. It is why we are transferring investment from the health service into social care services.
I also make it clear that I expect both NHS Highland and the Scottish Ambulance Service to act on the findings of the investigation and to make improvements to local services to ensure that mothers and babies can be transferred safely and comfortably whenever they need to be.
It would help in trying to understand the mechanics of our remit and exactly when the powers will transfer to the Scottish Parliament. We should be clear about the mechanics before we decide our work programme.
After this phase is complete, it will be possible to estimate costs. The existing websites, Parent Zone and Scottish Schools Online are currently managed and developed in-house by education Scotland.
