The Drug Driving (Specified Limits) (Scotland) Regulations 2019 - Roadside detection
Members also noted that the roadside screening devices were a single use device, and so could only be used once to test for the presence of drugs in a persons body before having to be disposed of. Concerns were expressed that the costs of the screening devices might make police officers reluctant to use them too frequently.
