The Deputy First Minister wrote to Ruth Kelly MP, then Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 26 June 2007, raising the concerns of Scottish Gypsies/Travellers around legal status.
I note that NPF3 makes some comments about some of the smaller ports, but I do not see any major focus on that in the proposed national developments. There is €26 billion available for port development, rising to something like €500 billion over the next 10 years.
It has been difficult, but we have created a new team. I have a new medical director, a new nurse director, a new finance director and a new director of public health.
Those opportunities are about finding new ways of creating new partnerships and ventures and exploring new ways of reaching out to and inspiring new audiences in our communities.
