I highlighted the Scottish Government’s commitment to seeing this industry prosper, and discussed how a transference of knowledge and skills between Irving and Scotland could help secure this objective in both countries.
For that reason, we have increased the resources that are available to the college and university sectors by £26 million and £20 million to support that.

His response is as follows: “It is not possible to accurately align reconviction rates with individual prisons as prisoners may transfer between prisons on a number of occasions during their sentence.
The Lord Chancellor wrote to me on 31 October 2011 outlining the basis of proposals which would transfer the administration of reserved tribunals to Scottish ministers and the responsibility for judicial leadership to the Lord President.
The Land Register of Scotland covers more recent transfers of property ownership and ultimately title to all heritable property in Scotland will be included in that register.
It, essentially, the same safety huddle tool that we have used so successfully in hospital settings as part of our patient safety programme. It has been transferred over, and is being applied appropriately for the care home setting.
