The cabinet secretary will be aware of the recently announced changes to the regeneration master plan at the former site of Ravenscraig steel works. As I understand it, those changes mean that the vision of creating Scotland’s first new town in 50 years will not be realised and the plans for a new town centre will be put on hold.
