The Emergency Food Aid Action Plan provides support to those working in the emergency food aid sector, helping to address food poverty by: Funding 26 emergency food aid projects in 17 local authority areas at a total cost of £523,000 over two years.
The value of lived experience and peer support in drug services has long been recognised, and we will publish new guiding principles on that this spring.
The commitment is very welcome, and it is one of the workstreams in the new deal for business group. However, on Leon Thompson’s point, as well as on Colin Wilkinson’s, I will say that we need pace before we lose too many more businesses in that adjustment and we need to create the environment that attracts inward investment and more people to want to open up and bring new products and new propositions to the marketplace.
