FCS has recently worked closely with Fife Council, Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and other partners in developing the Council’s FIFE Forestry & Woodland Strategy 2012-17, which is currently in final draft form.
I should add that we are currently going through an additional triaging process on several other instruments, so the number will rise. That is positively comparable with this point during previous Parliamentary sessions.
We will then have estimates for 2022—all with confidence intervals and statistically sound—which will be directly comparable with those in Scotland. 09:15 In summary, I am expecting—I am hoping—that we will be able to have directly comparable UK-wide population statistics for 2021 by spring next year.
