*S5M-03057 Stuart McMillan: Carols at Cappielow That the Parliament congratulates — everyone involved with this year s annual Carols at Cappielow, which took place at the football ’ ground on 11 December 2016 with the X Factor star, Nicholas McDonald, and the Greenock Morton FC legend, Andy Ritchie, among those who sang carols at the event; notes that Carols at Cappielow was organised by Inverclyde Christian Initiative and Greenock Morton FC, that the event also included musical items and support from the Salvation Army band and the Clydeside Singers and that it was filmed live, making use of Discover Inverclyde s super screen; understands ’ that Carols at Cappielow is now in its third year, and considers that these have been great occasions when the true festivities and community spirit of Christmas are presented to young and old in Inverclyde.
