That was the first time that I had come across SAVI and Annmarie Campbell, its founder. I have since visited the office in East Kilbride and, like Margaret Mitchell, I have been impressed by the work that is being done there and the absolute commitment of the volunteers.

The committee spent a very productive morning at a demonstration project on Langholm moor and I thank all those who made that extremely informative visit possible.
