*S6M-09533 Jackie Dunbar: Westdyke Ladies FC Secures Promotion to the Scottish Women’s Football Championship—That the Parliament congratulates Westdyke Ladies FC on securing promotion to the Scottish Women’s Football Championship, after beating nearest challengers, Falkirk, in a winner-takes-all final game of the season; understands that the club finished second in the recently restructured third tier of women’s football, following the merger of the north and south leagues into national third and fourth tiers; commends the efforts of the players and the coaching staff, Jonathan Watt and Steve Robb, for all their hard work throughout the season, including players from Aberdeen Donside such as Naomi Lind, Chloe Ferries and Bethany Cochrane; notes that next season will mark the Westhill-based side’s first season competing in the national championship, and wishes them all the best for the new season when it comes.
