The ultimate aim of amendments 53 and 54 is for the new body—FSS—to hold its meetings in public, except when the matter that is under discussion relates to personnel matters or it is considered that other exceptional circumstances apply.
I realised that the visitor, who was the head of a salmon company, was a woman and it dawned on me to ask myself how I would feel as a man visiting a woman in another company who, on making his way to her office, saw a wall full of pictures of men with no clothes on.
Given the size of Pittsburgh, I was struck by the question whether it would not be more feasible to link it with the east of Scotland or the whole central belt. The city is huge compared with Dunfermline and I wonder how wide the appreciation of those differences of scale is.
At the moment, it is illegal to kill a seal. If exceptions are to be made, is it not entirely reasonable to ensure that, every time it happens, it is reported?
