To ask the Scottish Executive, with reference to page 47 of Scottish Budget: Spending Review 2007, how the “increase in the proportion of adults making one or more visits to the outdoors per week” will be monitored.
People should take hope that a much more positive future is available, compared to the divisions of the current debate or simply returning to the Britain of the past.
Although receipts would likely be small compared with total public sector infrastructure spend, they would have a positive impact on infrastructure delivery by, for example, levering in other funding.
They are saying that they do not believe that their existing arrangements are sustainable. But that is not directly comparable to the position in Scotland. It is important that we include that little proviso while hearing your views.
