The Committee has agreed that it wishes to consider in more detail whether other individuals visiting or working in the Parliament – including Scottish Government staff – with whom Members come into contact in the course of their parliamentary duties, should also be included in section 7.5 of the Code of Conduct.

During the pandemic, people with dementia in care homes have been deprived of the social and emotional contact and the advocacy that family visits bring. The Scottish Government’s guidance on care home visiting has as its first principle that a person-centred approach must be taken at all times.

We indicated that we expected the budget would be split over the three payment regions as follows: Region Amount (€ million) Percentage 1 265.23 87% 2 27.44 9% 3 12.19 4% We were not in a position then to provide a breakdown by Rural Payments and Inspections Division area office because of the number of variables that might affect the calculation, such as the amount of new land that might be claimed, or land currently on the system where the land manager might not meet the new eligibility requirements.

In order for a license to be granted the Home Office must conduct a compliance visit. NHS Grampian were advised on 1 April 2020 that the Home Office have suspended all compliance visits for the foreseeable future due to Covid-19.
