In light of these concerns, and the subsequent discussions I've had with members across the chamber ahead of stage 3, I have lodged an amendment at stage 3 to address those issues, to introduce a regulation making power to allow Scottish Ministers to make further provision in connection with the exercise of rights under section 26 and 26ZA of the 1996 Act. This new regulation making power would allow Scottish Ministers to make further provision in relation to the circumstances in which an occupier may take action under section 26 or section 26ZA of the 1996 Act.
