How local authorities should treat Visitor Levy income As stated elsewhere, money raised from a visitor levy should only be used to support the objectives of a visitor levy scheme, and these should: "relate to developing, supporting or sustaining facilities or services which are substantially for or used by persons visiting the scheme area for leisure purposes".
