This is based on achievement of FCS’s 2,000 megawatts installed capacity target, and takes into account all actual and potential developments (including those resulting from the 2010-11 competitive negotiation process).
Following the UK Government’s announcement on 29 July confirming the date of the next UK Budget and multi-year Spending Review as 30 October, the Scottish Government is working closely with the Scottish Parliament to agree a date for the new Scottish Budget. We look forward to providing further details on the RALRI 2025-26 Budget to the Committee in due course.
The increase in budget set out for equality, inclusion and human rights over 2025/26 may not realistically be enough to address these challenges in the current harsh financial climate.
