On 26 October 2016, an independent Commission on Parliamentary Reform was established by the Presiding Officer to look at how the Scottish Parliament can engage better with the people of Scotland and how its work can be improved to deliver better scrutiny.

At its meeting on 26 March 2019, the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee considered the delegated powers provisions in the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Bill as amended at Stage 2 (“the Bill).iThe Bill as amended is available here.
This will augment the £21.4 million which has been allocated in 2025-26 and ensure more farms and crofts can access this important support and use it to become more resilient and sustainable.
The Committee took evidence from the Deputy First Minister on 25 January and 26 April 2022 regarding progress in delivering the Scottish Government's Continuous Improvement Programme (CIP), which is part of its response to the three reviews.
