That might not necessarily mean that they are more likely to die of Covid-19, although they are. We need to get to grips with the data on that as soon as possible.
Bits of it are out there—there is a complaints section on the Police Scotland website—but it would be helpful to have something that is easy to read, digestible and not full of acronyms.
However, anybody who dies in that hospital should die because of the underlying conditions that led them there and not because of the failings in the hospital itself.
There are obvious opportunities, for someone who has enough money, to pass on the money before they die when no tax is involved, and it is perfectly legal to avoid inheritance tax through buying farms or unquoted businesses.
