The Fuel Poverty (Target, Definition and Strategy) (Scotland) Bill was introduced by the Scottish Government on 26 June 2018. The Local Government and Communities Committee was appointed lead Committee to scrutinise the Bill at Stage 1 on 5 September 2018.

We have invested an additional £73 million in general practice. The 2025-26 budget includes more than £2.2 billion of investment in primary care, which will take our spending on wider primary care to more than 11 per cent of the total 2025-26 health and social care resource budget.

Budget 2025 to 2026 Minister Agriculture 15 August 2024
Following the UK Government’s announcement on 29 July confirming the date of the next UK Budget and multi-year Spending Review as 30 October, the Scottish Government is working closely with the Scottish Parliament to agree a date for the new Scottish Budget. We look forward to providing further details on the RALRI 2025-26 Budget to the Committee in due course.
