Both meetings related to early engagement on transport appraisal and assessment for a proposed development referred to as Euro Park. The first meeting was on 26 January 2016 between Transport Scotland and Transport Planning Ltd.
My point was that when the UK transport minister was at this committee in 2010, he assured us that he saw no reason why the powers on road signage could not be transferred to the Scottish Government and that meetings among officials from the Department for Transport, the Scottish Government and Transport Scotland could take place to look at transferring the powers.
