The Scottish Government has increased the standard and lower rates of SLfT to £126.15 per tonne and £4.05 per tonne for 2025-26 respectively. As in previous years, these changes maintain parity with the UK rates.

The purpose of these briefings was to help the Committee to better understand the provisions in the respective Bills before commencing formal evidence on them at Stage 1.
On 26 October 2021 it held two private, informal engagement sessions with people who had experienced conversion practices.
Prior to the formal session on 26 June, the Committee also took part in fact-finding visits to gather the views of young people on their priorities in health and sport.
