Masks (World Health Organization Guidance) To ask the Scottish Government what its response is to the latest World Health Organization guidance that young people over the age of 12 should wear a mask to help prevent transmission of Covid-19.
Child poverty and parental employment
The Committee's work on the inquiry started in the period 13 May 2022 to 12 May 2023.
Following visits to Rutherglen, North Ayrshire and the Western Isles, the Committee conducted several meetings where oral evidence was taken for the inquiry.
Second National Transport Strategy and we heard on visits that cancellations, particularly for weather, were often at the last minute which causes issues for travellers.
However, we continued to engage on matters of interest through virtual sessions and we have also agreed a programme of visits for May June and September 2022 to inform our inquiry into the role of local government and its cross-sectoral partners in financing and delivering a net-zero Scotland.
Examples of this include:
private meetings with survivors of domestic abuse;
fact-finding visits to prisons, police and fire stations, courts and third sector organisations;
online surveys; and
informal meetings with children and young people.
