Violent profits can be claimed only for the period when the tenant has no legal right to be on land or in buildings, such as when a lease has ended but the tenant stays on without permission.The law on violent profits is very old; it has its roots in a time when penal damages were more common.
I put it to you that those issues are of extreme concern. When will you visit that prison? There is no fixed date, but I hope to visit it in the next two or three weeks.
Can the cameras pick up the slides on the screen? They might be able to, from time to time, but we have paper copies that we could make available to the public.
People use private vehicles in a voluntary capacity to drive adults to day centres or for hospital visits or to take children to contact visits or to school.

This will be a matter for Dumfries and Galloway Council, once it has submitted a transfer proposal to the Executive and received "in principle" approval to formally consult tenants. S1W-23764
To ask the Scottish Executive how many cases involving illegal eviction of tenants by private landlords were (a) referred to and (b) pursued by Procurators Fiscal in each year from 1989-90 to 1998-99 inclusive.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to give tenant farmers the right to purchase their farm holdings when they become available on the open market.
