Also, the website banner previously showed a wait time of nine months for completion of a stage 1 assessment, but that was recently revised to eight months because of the progress that we have made, and we have every intention to revise it to seven months very shortly.

From the rent officer data that the Scottish Government has provided us with, we know that only 227 cases have been raised since 2017. We estimate that to be less than 1% of all PRTs [private rented tenancies]."
As soon as a Public Bill (i.e. a Government, Committee or Member’s Bill) has completed Stage 1, amendments for consideration at Stage 2 may be lodged; and as soon as Stage 2 is completed, amendments for Stage 3 consideration may be lodged.
