One meeting took place entirely in private; 26 involved items taken in private. The items taken in private were primarily to consider draft reports, approach papers and our work programme.
National Bus Travel Concessionary Scheme
The Committee reports to the Parliament as follows—
On 26 January 2017, the National Bus Travel Concessionary Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Amendment Order 2017 [draft] was laid before the Parliament and was subject to the affirmative resolution procedure.
The committee will now have had the chance to read the latest report from Grant Thornton on financial governance at NHS Tayside, and members will, no doubt, share my concerns at the findings of that review.
We have been working really closely with Colleges Scotland and staff of colleges throughout Scotland, and we provided a joint statement on higher national qualifications on 26 March. Further guidance on HNCs, in particular, was issued on 2 April.
